A Guide To Maintaining  Rattan Furniture

Rattan furniture is considered to be a symbol of style and modernism these days. They are fashionable and very comfy and cozy at the same time. You can set up a very nice looking garden using some fine rattan furniture.

In addition to all the high end features and pros they offer, they require a good deal of maintenance as well. You need to be very careful while cleaning and maintaining these pieces in order to keep them from getting spoiled.

No over priced cleaning products are needed to clean the pieces of your rattan furniture. You may use some common household cleaning stuff to do the job just right. All you need is some good quality dishwashing detergent, some lacquer, a tooth brush, a soft cotton cloth and a warm water bowl and you are good to go.

First of all you need to add some detergent in the water and mix up to get a bubbly blend. Take a soft piece of cotton cloth and dip it into the water and then softly rub it over the surface of your furniture. You do not need to rub too hard. Once you are done, allow the furniture to dry for some time.

Once it is dry, dip a tooth brush or a paint brush into some lacquer and apply a coat over the surface of the furniture in order to have added protection. That is it. You are good to go for some other days.
